A FDNY firefighter was injured battling a large fire that tore through three Brooklyn apartment buildings Monday.

The fire broke out at about 7:40 p.m. on the second floor of a vacant, middle, four-story brownstone that was being renovated in the Bedford Stuyversant area, WABC-TV reports. Flames then spread to two nearby buildings.
